So it's been a great but looong weekend at the Sutton Fair. When not busy we have taken to deep frying whatever we can get our hands on. It all started a month ago while having lunch with John and Darren. They told me about the vast possibilities in the carnival food. This week we have added deep fried mars bars to our menu. They have done very well. We have sold 300 so far. But perhaps the most fun is the testing of new potential products. So far we have tried deep fried cherries, oranges, oreos, sour candy, bananas, and peaches. Peaches taste like peach pie and people have been paying $4 for a half peach fried with ice cream on the side. Not all of them have been winners though. Try as I may, deep fried smores got the better of me. I can't figure how to keep em together in the fryer. That said, come on out to Sutton for Some deep fried goodness, its good and its good for you!
